Rejmyre is a small village in Sweden, set in a genuine wooded region,and sorrunded by many small lakes. The village grew in the 19th century when a lot of people started to work at the local glass- factory.

In Rejmyre you can rent a canoe, experience wildlife, visit the glass-factory, the blacksmith and enjoy traditional Swedish food at the restaurant.

It takes two hours to drive to Stockholm, and 45 minutes to Kolmarden, the largest zoo in Sweden.

Stockholm-Skavsta airport is about two hours away by bus. Take the airport bus from the airport to Norrkoping Travel Center, and there change to bus 410 and 416 to get to Rejmyre. Visit Customer Center at the Travel Center in Norrkoping, they will help you. Open 06.00-20.00, Saturday and Sunday 10.00-20.00. 

Rejmyre Hostel has 14 rooms with one to four beds, seven toilets of which four are shower rooms, and three fully equipped kitchens.

Price: 175 SEK, for children younger than 14 years it´s 70 SEK, singel room 200 SEK. To rent a set of sheets, the cost is 75 SKR.

If you want to experience Sweden outside of the cities, this is an excellent choice!


You may want to have your breakfeast at the Cafeteria. It´s close to the Hostel, and the kost is 50 SKR. Reserve a day before.

There is a local shop with food 300 meters from the hostel. It´s open until 7 pm weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays until 5 pm.
